Apple Vision Pro 😎

It was a huge day for the biggest company in the world as the launch of the highly anticipated AR/VR headset finally is underway. Move over Zuck, Tim Cook is nipping at Meta’s heels in the metaverse space.

💡 Here are all the key deets from the huge event yesterday:

• The Vision Pro headset is set at $3499 which many aren’t too happy about

• It combines both virtual reality and augmented reality features

• Won’t be fully launched to purchase until the beginning of next year and only in the United States to start

• An incredible amount of features for Facetime, gaming, productivity, entertainment, work collaboration, and more

• Powered by a detachable battery pack with a cord

• You can see hear and interact with content like its in your physical space

• it’s controlled with your eyes, hands, and voice

• It displays your eyes on the front of the screen when someone is nearby

🔥 Hot Take

Like most major products Apple produces, they aren’t first to market. We’ve seen Google Glasses, Meta’s Oculus, and many more take their swing at the AR/VR headset. Apple however is known for perfecting the product and then sweeping up market share in an instant. A good example would be the release of the Apple AirPods which many believed would be a major flop - I think we can all agree that it was a major success. Apple sees the Vision Pro not as simply an accessory but as an entire operating system on its own. A whole other ecosystem for developers to create apps and software for mixed reality as we have never seen before.

However, many were not too happy about the $3499 price mark as you see in the video below:

Open is shaping the future of NFTs 👀

Opepen by Jack Butcher is creating waves with an unprecedented trading volume of 6,300 ETH in just a month.

The rise of 'Opepen Drops' is gaining traction.

For those who don't know, Opepen is an NFT collection of 16k unique pieces. Unlike static artworks, Opepen pieces dynamically change their metadata, continuously transforming the visuals on the "Opepen frame." This happens with 80 Opepens at a time across 200 "Drops."
