What's Dropping ⚡️

• Lil Baby Ape Club ran all the way up to 0.75 after selling out a 10k drop. Everything was fine until people discovered the Skinhead trait. Shortly after it turned out they were stolen and then the devs ghosted the project. Current floor is 0.13 ETH.

• Everything is up - Doodles floor hit 2.8 ETH, Cool Cats floor hit 9.33 ETh, BAYC floor hit 50 ETH!

• Post Malone dropped a John Wick inspired video with the Weekend yesterday complete with the opening sequence of Post buying a Bored Ape via MoonPay. His PFP now features his Zombie Ape.

• NFF_ETH went HAM on the Cool Cats yesterday and picked up 22 over the course of about an hour. NFF - who went into some details on the purchase - is a fund owned by Wave Financial.

• Bored Ape dropped a tease for a 10-day member's only mobile game. The current floor is an eye-popping 50 ETH.

• BYOPills Apostle's had a 20 ETH sale on a Goddess Apostle yesterday. The previous high was 15 ETH, only 9 have been minted thus far.

The Floor Sweep Of The Century 🧹

Out of the blue, an NFT fund known as Wave Financial completely aped in and swept the floor with over $1,000,000 USD worth of Cool Cat purchases. From my count around 22 Cool Cats were purchased and floor went soaring in response. 

The purchase was under one wallet address using Genie, which is an NFT marketplace aggregator in which you can buy and sell multiple NFTs across all major markets in a single transaction.

NFF.eth appears to be a member (or founder?) of Wave Financial and their reasoning for making such a large purchase was:

"We like the cats"

As you can see on the 14 days chart Cool Cats recently have picked up significant speed.

Pulp Fiction NFTs

A few weeks ago, Quentin Tarantino— the award-winning director, screenwriter, producer, author, film critic and actor— announced he will auction off 7 uncut Pulp Fiction Scenes as NFTs. But in an unfortunate twist of events, Tarantino is being sued by Miramax Studios for the “deliberate, pre-meditated, short-term money grab.” SPICY. Apparently, Tarantino didn't consult beforehand with Miramax — which still owns the rights to the director’s 1994 classic.

Miramax’s attorneys have sent a cease and desist letter seeking to stop the sale, but based on the tweets below, it doesn't look like Tarantino and his team is paying mind to the letter. Miramax attorney Bart Williams said, “This one-off effort devalues the NFT rights to ‘Pulp Fiction,’ which Miramax intends to maximize through a strategic, comprehensive approach.” Tarantino NFT's are also still actively hosting whitelist competitions in their Discord and on Twitter, so the story is only just getting started.

Artist Spotlight 🎨

Thao is a female artist living in the great state of Texas with her husband and two sons. She specializes in enhancing women’s beauty through simple, minimalistic brush strokes. According to Thao, less is more and her work is the accumulation of her constant love for doodling and painting personal portraits. The ultimate goal through the sales of her NFT's is to be able to support other women who are artists like herself. She also does custom artwork, and anyone interested can DM her on Twitter.
