What's Dropping ⚡️

  • Artist Brendan Murphy's Boonji Project sold out in a Dutch Auction and currently has 50% unique holders.

  • Doodles are still selling like crazy. The floor is now 1.67 ETH and the Dino floor is now 20 ETH.

  • CryptPunk #7569 sold Sunday night for 222 ETH.

  • Jungle Freaks completed their Freaks of Fame airdrop to holders on Friday kicking off the scavenger hunt.

Boonji Project Breaks Records 🚀

At 6pm on Thursday, October 21st the Boonji project dropped with 7,444 boonji spacemen NFTs being auctioned off "dutch auction" style. This project was created by world-renowned artist Brendan Murphy and incredibly surpassed $15.5 Million in primary sales.

"Each Boonji Spaceman Avatar is unique and programmatically generated from a multitude of possible traits, including the Boonji Spaceman Bust, unique formulas, backgrounds, visors and more. All Boonji Spaceman Avatars feature elements from a lifetime of Brendan’s artwork. They include details from his original paintings, sculptures and monumental Boonji Spaceman sculptures that stand all over the world. Each Avatar is truly one of a kind. However, some are rarer than others based on the Algorithm generated when the Avatar is minted. These rarities have special powers that can unlock physical artwork and experiences."

Whiskey x NFTs?

On Friday an NFT attached to a barrel of 1991 Macallan whiskey sold for $2.3 million which smashed the previous record of $574,000.

The NFT seen above not only comes with the ultra-rare whiskey cask but also features the artwork of Trevor Jones who is a Scotland-based artist. If you have no idea what Macallan whiskey is know that it is one of the finest whiskey brands in the world. It was founded in 1842 by Alexander Reid on a plateau above the river Spey in north-east Scotland.

Fun fact: Each year the whiskey cask is reduced by 2% due to evaporation.
