In today's article, we give an in-depth breakdown of Catblox Studios and their Season 1 that has just kicked off - this is definitely something you aren't going to want to miss reading!

CatBlox Studios

The CatBlox universe is made up of 9999 uniquely beautifully generative cats that are here to take over the world. 

Since their sell-out mint in mid-February, the Cabtlox community has flourished and strengthened. Here is a breakdown:- Over 69,100 highly engaged Twitter followers- 8,100 ETH of volume in trading on their OpenSea - A floor price of 0.39 ETH- Over 24,000 highly engaging Discord members

Genesis CatBlox

The Genesis drop was our first step into the world of CatBlox. If you hold a Genesis Catblox you gain access to the whole Catblox cosmos and future collaborations, drops, and capsules (more on that later). The Catblox team has made it very clear that it wants to decentralize the brand even more and give Genesis Holders more opportunities to participate in CatBlox's internal operations and external collaborations. This type of participation is the lifeblood of our community.

Let's now get straight into the breakdown of their Season 1 that has just launched.

CatBlox Season 1: The Awakening

Purr. Purr. Season 1 is upon us.

CatBlox, a collection that we have spoken about time and time again, has commenced their first “season”, as they are calling it, as of March 21st. Every season will embark on a new journey, set in a new theme. Along with that, there will be a myriad of benefits to holders with exclusive brand collaborations and partnerships. Depending on what brand they’re collaborating with for that specific season, the theme will change. Season 1's partner is Puma, the international athletic and casual footwear brand that is iconic for its sleek design, comfort, and evergreen logo the Puma cat.

Some of the benefits that CatBlox holders can expect in each season are physical goods (Puma x CatBlox physical good release imminent), a capsule claim, and a studio drop. The capsules will be brand collaborations, such as a Puma CatBlox or a (Insert Future Brand Partnership Here) CatBlox.

Season 1 Specific Utilities 🛠

  • Unique NFT Airdrop (Airdrop is 1:1 per cats you hold)

  • An exclusive Puma x CatBlox wearable. The only way to get this is to own a Genesis Cat. (limit 1 per wallet)

  • Exclusive entry for our seasonal 1/1 Studio Cat drop (via Genesis raffle)

  • Preferred access to the limited edition Puma Capsule

  • Access to exclusive Puma Skill shares for CatBlox holders only

  • Access to unique, seasonal culinary events

  • Discounts and select limited time offers

Each season will feature unique capsule drops from different fields – Fashion, Cinema, Music, Art, Design, Wellness. The studio drops will consist of 50-100 1/1 CatBlox NFTs that will be given to a group of lucky genesis holders. If you’re lucky, you’ll end up with a 1/1 NFT created by the Catblox studio, or a prolific artist in the future.

CatBlox Studios' Statement About Capsules

"A capsule collection is a cobranded collection between CatBlox and a collab partner. Capsule collections allows us to do limited-run, cobranded drops that introduce new utilities to the space as well as pushing CatBlox to the edge of innovation. Genesis Cats will always be prioritized on the allow list for Capsules. All Capsules will incorporate an extremely unique utility as well as some sort of activation. Capsules will typically be released in a smaller quantity. The CatBlox Capsule Collection for Season 1 will be with Puma. Season 1’s Capsule will drop at the end of this season. Each season will feature unique Capsule drops from different fields – Fashion, Cinema, Music, Art, Design, Wellness. There is no shortage of imagination or connections at the CatBlox HQ and we plan to elevate how the entire space views integration and collaboration"

We have watched the CatBlox Studios team continuously deliver from initial mint sell-out all the way to today where they are partnered with one of the most recognizable brands in the world. With this consistency of delivering on roadmap and objectives, we are confident the future is bright not only for the team but the thousands of holders.  

In the CatBlox ecosystem, genesis holders will always benefit; the team is actively building value for their holders. The seasons that are planned will encapsulate the vision of the team: to have a world (metaverse?) where holders come first. Along with a stellar team, this project is working towards domination of brand collaborations in the NFT space. Puma is just the beginning.
