🐵 Cool Monkes 😎

There are some new monkeys in town. And this time, they’re not Apes. They’re Monkes. The Cool Monkes minted on January 17th at a cost of 0.06 ETH, roughly $200 in fiat at the time. The entire mint, both presale, and public sold out in 15 minutes. Containing over 250 individual hand-drawn traits, this collection of 9,999 unique NFTs has a variety of attributes. Each Monke has 4 separate traits, derived from 8 different rarities. And to be fair, they’re really cute.

After the mint, volume stayed consistent at an average price of 0.14 ETH, according to OpenSea. But on last Friday, sales started flying with an average price of 0.29 ETH. The floor at the time of writing was 0.7 ETH! The volume in the first 5 days of secondary trading was approximately 760 ETH, but it is currently at an all-time volume of 3,289 ETH, at the time of writing.

The project aims to provide a few forms of liquidity to their investors, according to their website. The first is in the form of staking, where you can send you Cool Monke to work and earn $CMB, the native token of the project. The higher rarity Monke that you have, the more $CMB you are rewarded through staking. The second form is breeding. If you hold 2 or more Cool Monkes, you can breed them and create a Baby Cool Monke, which is the second collection that the project aims to release. You will also have the ability to raise your Baby Cool Monke into a kid or adult in an interactive PvE experience that the project aims to release. The final form of utility is the ability to buy food, toys, and clothes in the Monkes Store, using the $CMB you earned.

This project is one to definitely keep your eyes on in this saturated market. The team has some big plans and the community is patiently waiting to see what is next. WAGMI.

JiggyVerse NFT 🎮

Vibe alert! Back in September 2021, Alex Pearlman, an acrylic painter and digital artist from San Diego CA, started the release of a “Jiggy” NFT Genesis Collection. The collection now has 100 Genesis Jiggy’s, and picked up a bit of volume yesterday; the most recent sale coming in at 1.89ETH. Then the artist and a developer team announced mid-November that they would be working on a multi-year plan to create the “JiggyVerse gaming experience.” And it looks like things are rolling quickly! The JiggyVerse— a collection of 9,444 Jiggy's built for the immersive, art-game experience— just launched a DemoVerse for users to play before the launch of their collection!

The online experiences already being offered to the community pre-launch is pretty remarkable. If you explore the DemoVerse, you’ll see that this is not just your average pfp collection. In the DemoVerse, you can explore part of the creative world that will be released in even greater detail after the launch! In the DemoVerse, players will even have the ability to unlock a free NFT and enter the whitelist simply by playing and exploring. With about 2,300 Discord members and 1,250 Twitter followers, it’s still pretty early to be coming across such a dope project. We’ll for sure be keeping our eye on this one, and are looking forward to seeing what else Pearlman and his team create.
