• Robinhood has launched its crypto wallet beta to participants. The app has a built-in browser similar to Metamask mobile. (DC)

Doodles Making Big Moves 👀

With many participants speculating on an NFT bull run on the horizon, we are now seeing more announcements from project teams to show people what they have planned for this year. Along with the other teams announcing their plans, Doodles announced yesterday that they are acquiring Golden Wolf, an award-winning animation studio that they also worked with for their Doodles2 announcement at NFT NYC 2022. While the details of the deal weren’t released, we know that Golden Wolf’s CEO, Ingi Erlingsson, will join the Doodles team as Chief Content Officer while still overseeing the studio’s ongoing projects. 

The main objective behind this acquisition is the formation of a joint venture called Active Ingredient. By utilizing Golden Wolf’s strategic partnership with creative studio Psyops, the team plans to perform “storytelling without constraints & AI animation generation R&D” in the joint venture, while also leveraging Golden Wolf’s expertise in the space.

According to a press release by the team, Psyops will also invest in Doodles, thus showing their commitment to the overall vision. This deal still has a few weeks to be finalized, but the preliminary details sound very enticing.

With this acquisition/partnership, we’re seeing their vision of creating some type of show turning into a reality. Golden Wolf has worked with the likes of Nike, Facebook, Disney, and many more massive companies in the digital media world. They have what it takes to create something that the Web3 ecosystem has never seen before, thus ushering in a new era of creative direction and execution. We’re excited to see this deal finalize soon, and we’re even more excited to see what they end up creating together. WAGMI, Doodles.
