Jack Butcher’s “TRADEMARK” Sell Out ®

Just a week ago we saw Jack Butcher do it again - that is of course sell out an NFT project in incredible fashion.

Trademarks sold out in a mere matter of minutes on Wednesday November 22rd and its about time to give a brief breakdown of the project.

💡 What are TRADEMARK / Signatures?

Butcher and his creative studio Visualize Value continue to operate on a level that many creators have a hard time even keeping up with.

Trademark and Signatures was a collab project with Red Bull Racing that was both a evolution in Butcher’s work but a visualization of F1 racing. To put it simply, Butcher is displaying the symbol ®, which traditionall represents registered trademarks in business or a signature -like tire marks left in races, F1 burnouts, etc. Both interpretations signify ownership, trasnaction, or a distinctive mark in their respective contexts.

Butcher states “in both collections, the ® is representative of either: motion between two points “trade marks” or as a “signature” the mark left after practicing one’s trade (in f1, the burnout)”.

Butcher also gives a closer look into his thought process with an interview made with Red Bull Racing (worth the watch):

He expands on the thoughts of Trademark thesis by saying “a symbol (Trademark) that represents the ownership of something intangible that enables coordination, cooperation and competition at scale”

Butcher visualizes this thesis in the collection artwork with “R” which is traditionally used as the Trademark logo as you can see below:

In all, Jack Butcher is one of the most prolific creators in the web3 space and it appears as if he is just getting started. The more he creates the larger his community expands and the value of his collections continue to grow. It will be exciting to see in 5 years.

🕹️ Parallel NFT Season 5 Patch

Huge news out of @ParallelTCG for this upcoming Season 5!

Yesterday, Parallel implemented Patch 0.24 that has a host of updates worth noting below.

💡 Here are the details:

• Introducing a new defensive mechanic called 'Shield Pod' for the second player to balance the gameplay

• Season 5 Battle Pass introduces two new playable cards: Romus, Recombinant Justician & Master Thief Kozo

• Implementing a Cosmetic Item Upgrade System in the Battle Pass

• Updating the weekly store reset time and in-game alert system

• Enhancing the visual effects of the Special Edition (SE) and hold raffles for Season 4 & 5

For those wondering, Parallel raised $50 million at a $500 million valuation in late 2021. What started as a NFT Sci-Fi card game it has evolved into a completely immersive experience and ecosystem.
