What’s Dropping?
MekaVerse floor dropped to an intraday low of 2.4 ETH on Thursday. Traders likely cried real tears.
Schoot, a Dwight Schrute / The Office-inspired NFT collection sold out in 15 minutes on Wednesday. One can only hope for the possible Michael Scott airdrop at some point in the future.
IMX Bears, a project that came out of nowhere suddenly has nearly 90k in their Discord.
In real life proof that named artists truly matter in the NFT game, Jungle Freaks floor is already sitting at 0.8 ETH on OpenSea
Larva Labs apparently sent a transaction to Coinbase according to NBA Top Shot East on Twitter.
Uber baller, Machi Big Brother dropped 425 ETH on the perfect Robot Ape yesterday.
SolSisters mints TODAY, Oct. 15th @ 1900 UTC (3 PM Eastern).
SolSocks breaks Magic Eden marketplace during sale of SockPasses (a ticket to enter you into giveaways and NFT airdrops). Giveaways begin Oct. 15th for sockpass owners.
Gary Vee sweeps the floor on this collection and demands more. Artist, Sara Baumann, is set to launch 10,000 more Women and Weapons on Oct. 23rd.
Machi Big Brother Buys Cyborg Bored Ape for $1.6 Million
Talk about ape-ing into NFTs! Taiwanese entrepreneur and A-list celebrity, Machi Big Brother, purchases a Cyborg Bored Ape for 425ETH ($1.6 million USD). Jeffrey Hwang (aka Machi Big Brother) was part of a Taiwanese pop/rap group in the '90s called "LA Boyz." Machi Big Brother then founded MachiX, a collective of artists and patrons, curating and collecting digital art. But Machi must be the biggest collector of them all. Machi's public wallet now shows ownership of 59 Bored Apes and 71 Mutant Apes (130 total). The BAYC floor is currently sitting around 36.5ETH. This means the bare minimum value of his collection totals $8.26 million USD (not incorporating the recent $1.6 million price tag on the single Cyborg Ape). Machi's NFT collection on OpenSea shows a total of 3.2k items. As for the Cyborg Ape he now owns, it came from Blockpointlabs, whose wallet also contains a handful of Bored Apes— 12 to be exact. The Cyborg originally sold for 5ETH on May 2nd, 2021 when the price of ETH was approximately $2,900, making the total cost roughly $14,500. I think it's safe to say, whoever this person is, their investment portfolio is significantly outperforming the stock market this year.
I’m the coldest motherfucker in this space. Idgaf. Ape with me or from me. @BoredApeYC

TikTok NFTs FLOP
Start writing here: TikTok just celebrated 1 BILLION users this month, but has only hit 10 bids on their first-ever NFT drop. There's just something ironic about this since the platform banned crypto entirely three months ago, and is now flopping on their first-ever NFT project. You would think a platform with over 1 billion users would have at least more than 10 people interested in NFT's. To make things even odder, there was some solid hype surrounding the drop which was supposed to be a collaboration between Lil Nas and Rudy Willingham. Both artists went silent before the launch and the artwork was never released. Rudy Willingham made this jaw-dropping video for Lil Nas back in June. There hasn't been word from either artist as to why they went silent just before the NFT launch.
Two weeks ago, TikTok announced a series of NFTs with artists like Lil Nas X and Bella Poarch. Sources now tell us the LNX release won't come out. It's a misstep for TikTok in a rollout that industry insiders are calling “a challenge” and “a complete joke”

Nonetheless, TikTok still launched their first NFT "Top Moment" 1-of-1 auction with Curtis Roach. Here is the link to view the NFT and live to bid. Warning: listen at your own risk. This sound went viral for a reason and there's a good chance you won't be able to get this out of you're head after listening. Bidding ends Monday, Oct. 18th. Bidding started at 1.899ETH and topped out at 7.15ETH before some over-zealous bidder slapped down 25ETH for the video. So if you want to score an NFT rendition of one of TikTok's most viral videos in partnership with Coin Artist, it'll cost you... but there's not much competition.
