What's Dropping ⚡️

Horizon Worlds 🌎

Facebook, or should I say Meta has wasted absolutely zero time expanding its virtual reality realm known as "Horizon Worlds". On Thursday Meta announced that Horizon Worlds is open to anyone over the age of 18 in the U.S. or Canada. To be a user in Horizon Worlds you need a virtual reality headset such as the Oculus. In this virtual Oasis 2.0 you can hang out with up to 20 other people and see their virtual avatars in front of your own eyes. Below you can see Meta's official announcement but in this link here you can see a user review of the new virtual world.

Obviously, Meta's Horizon Worlds is a direct competitor to Roblox and Decentraland. Right now it looks like all fun and games but make no mistake about it these three worlds are in fierce competition for metaverse dominance.

Minting Now: Mecha-Chaotic ⚠️

Mecha Chaotic is an NFT project from an elite doxxed team led by the talented artist Ethan Brewerton. This project has incredibly unique art, summoning mechanics that influence your final stage of the NFT, and an ingenious gas-saving contract that brings down the price of gas by about 70%.

Each of the 9666 Bedlam NFTs are 0.07 ETH and the minting has already begun.

How It Works Minters can hold their randomly minted Symbols of Power (5 variations total) in preparation for the next stage of the mint, or they can reach out and trade with another owner on the secondary market if they are feeling risky/lucky.What Happens Next? Once 24-48 hours after the ritual ceremony begins, the metadata for your summoning tokens will alter to reflect a randomly generated Bedlam creature with elements influenced by the Symbols of Power you chose thus resulting in a completely unique Mecha.

The Bedlam game will be announced in early 2022.

Pepsi NFTs?

If the metaverse wasn't difficult enough to understand already, try explaining why Pepsi is giving away 1,893 NFT microphones. Wednesday morning, Pepsi tweeted "Gm" followed by a thread about a small collection of NFT's they will be giving away tomorrow. Why? According to their Twitter, Pepsi said, "We wanna rock your world, and future NFT drops will let us live new experiences together: music, entertainment, community...you name it." But why a collection of 1,893 PFP microphones instead of soda cans or vintage bottles? But if you're interested and want the chance to win a free NFT from Pepsi, here's how you can do it! The Pepsi NFT drop is only for folks who make it onto the waitlist, which opens tomorrow. No time was specified, so you're going to have to turn on Twitter notifications and be one of the first 1,893 people to sign up. To find out if you made it, you can go to http://micdrop.pepsi.com on 12/14 and connect your wallet. If you made it, there will be a “mint” button with a checkmark next to it. We're not sure where this project is going, but we also wouldn't turn down a free NFT from the largest soda company in the US.
