What's Dropping ⚡️
Lots of projects are minting out completely. Seems like the $SOS & $GAS stimulus that dropped has without question pumped the marketing in all the right ways. Floors are healthy and many projects are achieving new, unseen heights.
Look Out: The Art of Cryptowaves is minting this Jan. 12th at 8 PM UTC. This is a unique collection of 3139 generative artistic price waves derived from BTC and ETH, created to honor the evolutionary nature of crypto and all crypto traders. It is the first work at the intersection of crypto, trading, collectibles and art.
Born in the land of ice and fire, Valhalla Vacation Club just closed their presale and are firing up the cylinders for the main sale later this month. Led by a team of doxxed Icelanders and aided by an assembly of global professionals, Viking holders will receive lava-rocks, have a chance at winning a trip to Iceland and will benefit from the commercial diversifications of a fast-developing Viking brand.
SO MANY PROJECTS look so good right now. Cases in point: A.N.I.M.O, Illuminati NFT and Monster Shelter.
There was an embarrassing shambles of a Twitter Space hosted by a guy with a history of racist social media posts accusing Yuga Labs, the company behind BAYC of being racist. Yuga responded, explaining that the word “Yuga” is not some white supremest slag, it’s actually the villain in Zelda and went into some history to dismiss these tinfoil hat concocted accusations.
We saw a 56 ETH Doodles sale yesterday.
The Littles floor keeps climbing. Rumors abound about a collaboration with a Blue Chip are rampant in a few Alpha Discords.
Cold Blooded Creepz sold out in less than an hour. There’s A LOT happening in the Creepz-verse, Invasion pass is already 5x+ mint price and the limited Floor x Creepz collab pass comes with a bonus 70,000 $Illuminati.
Legends of Venari launched gameplay and Alpha Passes and Gilded Passes continue to be in demand. We’d expect this to grow once the marketplace and the rest of the Venari economy is launched.
The BYOVerse surged this past weekend to continually new highs. Floors on Pills is 1.2 ETH, Apostles is 0.72 ETH, Land is 0.65 ETH, Vapes are 0.32 and BYOKeys will run you 2 ETH. Keys, Vapes, Apostles were all free mints + gas and Land was 0.10 for Vape holders. How do we say we called it without saying we called it?
Nonki Shiba’s genesis collection of just 777 NFTs is undeniably, adorably sold out.
Eminem buys ape and then drops 15 ETH on Eminem.eth. Seems like the entire Super Bowl halftime show has Apes - is this latest purchase a sign of things to come?
H&M, the second-largest retailing clothing brand has opened a store in the metaverse
Cool Cat floor was swept again and again over the past few days bringing the entry level price almost back up to it’s historic highs. Current floor is 11.25 ETH and with the Cool Pet drop along with the much anticipated launch of the $MILK token things will likely continue to be moving in this upwards direction
BAYC Mega Mutant Serum had it’s 3 sale with a record smashing 1,542.069 ETH (AKA $5.9m USD for you normies out there).
OpenSea Volume 🚀
Well, it looks like people were talking about NFT’s around the dinner table during the holidays! On Sunday, OpenSea daily Ethereum volume neared record-breaking highs. Approximately $248M (USD) was traded on Monday, January 3nd, which is more than the first 5 months of 2021 combined, and nearly 10x the annual volume for 2020. And this is just a fraction of the volume we could expect to see in the future. As we’ve mentioned in the past, Coinbase NFT now has a waitlist of over 2.7 million people. To put this into perspective, OpenSea had just over 900,000 active users in 2021. If less than a million users can reach an annual volume of $15 billion, imagine the kind of volume 2.7 million Coinbase users could achieve!
Now this is a definition of hockey user growth.
Samsung NFT Display
In recent times, many people have been purchasing NFTs. Most individuals who own these tokens view them on their smartphone or laptop. But some NFT devotees display their assets on digital displays, showcasing what they are proudly holding in their collection. According to a recent press release, Samsung, one of the world’s leading electronics manufacturers, plans to introduce a “an intuitive, integrated platform for discovering, purchasing and trading digital artwork through MICRO LED, Neo QLED and The Frame.”
While this feature is currently planned for a select group of the company’s smart televisions, it is a leap forward in the mission to bring mass adoption to the NFT space. When we think towards the future, imagine walking into any home, and seeing digital art displayed on the wall. Imagine a future where you can see what an art piece looks like before you purchase it, all on the same, native platform. That is the future that we, as a community, are working hard towards, and that is the future that we are anticipating greatly. WAGMI.
