STREETLAB.io 🎨

For OG drop readers this project is probably very familiar. All the way back in May we covered Streetlab's genesis drop (4444 pieces) that ended up selling out in excellent fashion. This was quickly followed up with another sold-out Streetlab.io mint, the One Truth Genesis drop (500 pieces). Today we are following up again on their most recent drop that starts tomorrow!

STREETLAB OG Drop 🔥

Tomorrow will mark a pivotal moment for Streetlab.io in which 11 street artists are bringing their IRL art to digital form on the Streetlab.io platform. These artists have worked tirelessly for months to capture the ethos of the space in their collections and bring to the table something that we have never seen before.

Holders of the Streetlab Genesis collection get first dibs on the drops but the public will still have plenty of opportunities to take on the action.

Before we go any further, it is paramount that you check out Streetlab.io's discord where thousands of minters are discussing tomorrow's drop. Get familiar with the community and get ready for tomorrow's mint.

Mint Details ⚡️

In Streetlab.io fashion, the mints for this drop are a little untraditional, but then again what is a traditional NFT mint? The mint is separated by two days with two phases of minting each.

Minting will occur on the Streetlab.io website. 

August 23nd / Tuesday / 9:00 AM: Tomorrow's mint will be a standard mint and be featuring artists:

 @falko_fantastic & @trp613 

Phase 1: Only the Genesis holders will be able to mint at a preferred price for a few hours.

Phase 2: Open to the public.

August 25rd / Thursday / 9:00 AM: The Thursday mint will be english auction style and feature artists:

 @Derf_gallery, @ernestillm, @Fractually1, @MCibille, @Nefrit33, @pardon_pardon1, @SamElgreco, @shanehello3, @OneVeneno

Phase 1: During the first 24 hours only the Genesis holders will be able to bid.

Phase 2: After 24 hours only the auctions with no bid will be open to the public. All the auctions with a bid will remain closed to the public.

Background 📍

As discussed in our prior full breakdown, the first decentralized street art NFT platform in the world devoted to street artists is called Streetlab.io. By developing a platform that is community-led and accessible to artists of all backgrounds and mediums, this initiative aims to assist any street artist in integrating into the NFT community.

The team behind Streetlab.io is fully doxxed and the platform is partnered with some of the biggest names in the NFT space. Along with this, Streetlab.io is a decentralized platform in which the whole curation of the best #StreetArtNFT collections is made with the community members that hold the genesis collection (close to 2,000 unique individuals).

Current Phase

After the success of the genesis drop, Streetlab.io has entered Phase 2 of the business in which the launch of the Streetlab.io platform, governance, curation, artist selection, and referral bonus has already begun (and is in full swing).
