Facebook's Metaverse Screenshot  💀

Just recently, the NFT community was “ooo-ing” and “ahh-ing” over the execution of the Otherside metaverse. Consisting of beautiful and realistic graphics, Otherside’s launch became the standard for what a successful metaverse should look like.

Faceb… Sorry, Meta has been working on their Horizon Worlds metaverse for quite some time. Ever since the company pivoted to focus on the future of metaverse integrations, they have been slow to show any progress or have any sort of community engagement in their building. Now, Mark Zuckerberg has shared a screenshot of himself in the metaverse, and it’s even worse than anyone expected.

For one, Zuckerberg’s avatar looks like it came out of a Nintendo Wii; and a broken one at that. Having spent more than $10 billion on this venture, the results that the community saw yesterday were abysmal at best. Some are speculating that Meta is doing this in order to hit the masses, and not to focus on the perfection of what the metaverse actually looks like. They just want to be able to incorporate their metaverse into a slurry of different products, including Quest 2. Others are saying that Meta is building something bad to create a baseline that they can then improve on, while also proving the mass adoption of the metaverse. Time will tell what Zuckerberg is thinking. What we saw in that screenshot is just not going to cut it. WAGMI.

 Okay Bears Revival? 🐻

Looks like the bears are just getting started after a successful bear drop and the lunch of Okay node; a lunch which will hopefully continue to push all Solana NFTs forward.

Community members or holders always want to be involved in every step of the building process, pre and post-mint period, those members of the Okay Bears project got their wish. The team and the community took action, and suggestions were made on works that will propel the brand even further. The team also took out time to unfold what they've been up to, project by project with timelines and deliverables.

The Honey Pot

The Honey Pot is a mechanism set up by the team to support the community members with their initiatives to help grow the brand's reach, impact, and message.

“We want to empower, support, fund and incentivize our community to scale and collectively amplify branded activities around the planet to unite more people with our WAGBO vision.”

As part of the movement of spreading the shared resonating vision, the Honey Pot provides a place to pitch creative ideas and activities that will amplify OKB message and brand reach in meaningful and novel ways.
