BAYC, KINGSHIP, And M&Ms 🍫

The Bored Ape music band KINGSHIP and M&Ms have teamed up to bring the people of this world M&M candies with the Bored Apes printed on them. Mars, the company that owns the M&M brand, is in a licensing agreement with UMG’s 10:22PM, the label that manages this digital monkey band. This license exhibits the opportunities available to NFT holders that retain IP rights over their NFTs. 

For example, Mars has not contracted a deal with Yuga Labs, they instead are dealing directly with the owners of the particular NFTs that comprise the KINGSHIP monkey band.

The KINGSHIP Gold 100 Gift Box that contains a pound of M&Ms and sells for a hundred dollars each has already sold out. The celebratory gift box and the limited edition gift jar are still available to interested parties. KINGSHIP came together in November, and UMG will be generating the songs for the Bored Ape avatars to perform in metaverse concerts.

NFTKollabs Is Giving Back In A Big Way 💰

Recently, we have seen many projects engage in some sort of giveback program, in which they reward random holders with prizes, ranging from NFTs to actual ETH. With that said, none have come close to the giveback that NFTKollabs is planning.

While going through the daily grind in the NFT space, most people tend to forget about the art. Coming from a team of doxxed and respected artists in the digital space, NFTKollabs is minting on August 31st, and the mint price will be dictated based on which number NFT you mint. The first 3,333 will be 0.133 ETH, the second 3,333 will be 0.166 ETH, and the last 3,333 will be 0.199 ETH. While this may seem like a large upfront cost, especially in a bear market, the art and potential rewards that you receive make it a potential bargain. One of the artists, Glass Crown (also a great friend of The Drop), is featuring some of her art in the 4 classes being minted (Klassik, Rare, Epik, and Diamond). Each class will have a different reward pool, meaning the rarer your NFT, the more rewards you have the potential to receive. The cherry on top is that you don’t have to wait until the mint is over, after every 500 mints, gifts will be revealed to holders.

Although forgotten at times, art is what ultimately defines the NFT space. Additionally, above all, the community is how projects outshine others. Giveback programs have existed for months, including projects like GodHatesNFTs. But, the execution of the promises made is another thing. 600 ETH is enough of a promise for a project to make an impression. Along with focusing on using funds to invest in other people's art, this project plans to change some lives. Let’s see how well they execute. WAGMI.
