Crunchy Announces Sliced.art on Tezos 🎨

Most of the activities that we see and write about take place in the Ethereum ecosystem. But people are creating in every blockchain, particularly on the Tezos blockchain. NFTs have been available on the chain for some time, and the main selling point of Tezos is that the cost remains minimal for both creators and buyers. Gas is negligible, including the cost to mint new NFTs. But there is now a company that wants to open the doors for new innovation and easier onboarding.

One of the top defi companies on the Tezos network, Crunchy, announced that they are developing a fractional NFT platform called sliced.art. What this means is that you don’t have to buy the entire NFT; you can just buy a piece of it. From what we can tell, this allows new buyers to come in at lower costs, while also allowing creators to think about distribution in a different way. Do you want to create a 1,000 NFT collection? Or do you want to create 1 NFT that has 1,000 pieces?

💡The DropNFT fractionalization isn’t something people often think about. We just wonder about the day that we’ll be able to afford the NFT of our dreams. Breaking that down and giving someone the ability to buy 1/250th of a BAYC is how we’ll bring more people into the space. It also gives projects the ability to make more money, because the barrier to entry is less than before, thus allowing for more potential liquidity.

Rolling Loud Introduces an NFT Project 🎵

Rolling Loud is coming out with an NFT project entitled LoudPunx. The Punx will have some pretty exceptional utility. For example, holders will have access to all and every Rolling Loud festival, in addition, holders will have access to the exclusive Loud Lounge at all events.

  • NFT & Hip-Hop… Rolling Loud has dedicated personnel just for the festival’s Web3 reach. Rolling Loud thinks that hip-hop has been under represented in the NFT scene and it wants to change.

  • Keeping it simple… the nature of the PFP project is pretty standard. There will be thousands of LoudPunx and they will have different qualities. Importantly, the goal of keeping it simple is to emphasize the real life utility of the digital assets as well as the roadmap for the project.

  • Precedent… the folks at Rolling Loud want to set an ideal model for what hip-hop related NFT projects should be like. Others will be able to look at it as a guiding light. They firmly believe there are right reasons and wrong reasons to issue a project and want to be on the right side of things.

💡The DropPerhaps the strongest case scenario for the future of NFTs is one where a diverse array of utilities from a breadth of real-world sectors are implemented into them. LoudPunx serves as an example of that. Rather than the PFP project that emerges out of a desire to create a PFP project in and of itself, this represents a model where a PFP project represents an existing community that can benefit from representation through technology.

Bohemia's De-rug Team Updates the Community 👥

After the founders rugged the project back in November, a team of whales and loyal holders of Bohemia came together to form a Provisional Council of 6 members which will be temporarily in charge of leading the affairs of the project for the next two months until a BohemiaDAO is established around a multisig wallet. Having received the new proposal for project handover (includes render of galleries, socials, authority wallets, website domains, funds, etc) from previous founders through their representative in the first week of December, the council announced on Thursday that they started to assets from the founders. The council also confirmed that they've received 4 transfers out of 5 transfers.

So far they have the following in their possession: From the first batch, the private keys to the wallets that hold the project-related NFT assets, update authorities for their two collections, Bohemia royalty wallets, and $WOOP token treasury. The private key to the wallet that holds the agreed upon 25.000,00 USDC and the Fabulosa & Big Bang royalties from the second batch of transfer. Export Unreal Engine Environment from the third and Twitter and Raffle Login info from the fourth.

And while waiting for the Source code and files related to the applications, the council has decided to move all the assets into a multi-sig environment for safekeeping. The keys to the wallet are held by 5 people and at least 3 people need to sign a transaction for it to be validated.
