Steve Aoki & 3LAU: @ITSTHEPUNX 🎶

PUNX can be rockstars too… well at least the Grammy-nominated Steve Aoki and Billboard-topping 3LAU are convinced that they can be. Punk-ness and music have been intimately linked at every point in musical history where the dominant soundscape morphs and shifts. From rock n’roll, to hip-hop, to drill and techno. Aoki and 3LAU want to inject electric music with the impressions of the newest digital revolution.

• If you want a taste… check out their most recent artistic collaboration entitled Jenny to get a sense of the kind of aesthetic ideas that will dominate their PUNX project. This involves not just music, but also a unique visual footprint.

• A musical bridge… Aoki and 3LAU want to leverage their relevance in both standard media and the web3 universe to make this a project that connects worlds. 3LAU and Aoki both love the the web3 space, and plan on intertwining the web3 community into their conceptual art in creative ways down the line.

Ledger Introduces Stax 🔒

Yesterday at their Op3n event in Paris, Ledger, the GOAT of digital asset security, unveiled their newest offering: Ledger Stax. We have all come to know Ledger as the premier hardware wallet brand, as they have set the standard for how other hard wallets stay secure. Ledger’s sleekness in design and minimalism is what has paved the way for the organization in becoming a leader in their class, and with Stax, the bar has been raised even higher.

Ledger Stax features an E-Ink screen, “which covers the front and curves around the spine – you can view complete transaction details at a glance” and “is always viewable: your favorite NFTs art appears on the Ledger Stax screen, even when it is off.” Stax, as the name suggests, also allows you to “stack” multiple wallets in a bookshelf fashion, utilizing the use of magnets integrated into the design. These are just some of the things that Tony Fadell, an icon that is most known for developing the first iPod, had in mind when inventing the Stax wallet.
