Crytpo Zoo Scam Unraveled
📍 BackstoryIf you’ve delved into the world of YouTube in the past 10 years, you’ve probably come across the Paul Brothers, Logan Paul to be specific. From elaborate pranks to crazy challenges, Logan created a fan base of millions of people, while also amassing a fortune that allowed him to pursue other ventures. Years ago, Logan was momentarily (many people thought permanently) canceled for filming a vlog in the Suicide Forest in Japan and in the process mocking the location. You can see the apology for that here. Fast forward, it took Logan many years to build back his credibility and public name. From then on, he trod very carefully and did everything with a fine-tooth comb: he was extremely cautious of bad publicity. With time, that turned into the Impaulsive podcast, with Logan as the lead contributor along with 2 of his long-time buddies.
Everything seemed to be going somewhat well for Logan. People started noticing how much he had changed and how the changes that he instituted in his life were in a positive direction. With his new podcast, he drifted away from daily vlogging and was able to somewhat build himself back up from the Japan incident. But, then Coffeezilla struck once again and all hell has broken lose...
💡Who is Coffeezilla?Coffeezilla is an ultra-famous Youtuber that sheds light on scams and other malicious activity in the internet, crypto, and Web3 space, mainly via celebrities and other large internet figures. Coffeezilla is world known for his extremely tactical methods of uncovering scams and frauds - think of him as a modern-day internet Sherlock Holmes.
Coffeezilla is claiming, with blockchain evidence, that Logan was in charge of a rugpull that left thousands of people in that dust, millions in his team's pockets, and with nothing to show for it. This NFT project goes by the name of CryptoZoo. This project essentially allowed you to breed your Egg NFTs to create new ones, such as Pandagiraffes. The NFTs could then start to harvest tokens and then be transferred into fiat currency, thus creating a loop of funds being injected; everyone wins. Seems easy right? Yeh… not really.
Coffeezilla has a three-part youtube story explaining everything that we highly recommend watching - very entertaining! Part one is below:
Here is a quick breakdown:- Logan started this project with a couple of other shady internet characters. They created $ZOO tokens but had problems with the team internally about how and when the tokens should be sold. Logan continuously blasted on his socials and podcast about how this crypto game was going to change everything and in turn, thousands of his loyal fans bought in big. - With the ongoing internal struggles, the team was found to still have made millions of the project but never paid the devs! If anyone has seen the movie War Dogs its the internet equivalent of when they don't pay the packaging guy and he rats them all out to the FBI. Obviously, the devs stopped working and therefore the game was never actually built (eggs didn't even reveal their animals), sending the NFTs and tokens to nearly ZERO. - Instead of taking accountability, Logan actually ended up leaving the project to start something new, which turned out to be his polaroid project that allowed you to come on his podcast if you bought an NFT.
Logan “invited me on his show” but didn’t include the email 24 hrs before this where I invited him first onto my show, along with Eddie, CryptoKing, and Jeff.🥱
Im happy to fly Logan down or livestream it but I’m not flying to his CryptoZoo tax haven on new years lol

💡 The DropBig influencers are constantly crowding this space and taking advantage of it, creating an opening for someone who isn’t a part of Web3 to call our whole industry a scam. Logan has offered Coffeezilla to come onto his podcast and for him to get a chance to explain his side, but with irrefutable blockchain evidence, it’s pretty hard to weasel your way out. The good news is the space is getting smarter by the day and people are starting to sniff out these celebrity rug pulls before they are even able to take off. As always, be safe. WAGMI.
