Never Fear Truth

Never Fear Truth is an NFT project by American actor, producer, musician, and artist Johnny Depp that is gaining acknowledgment and excitement across the entire world. It is a collection of 11,111 NFTs of his closest friends and heroes, many of whom are familiar faces we have enjoyed watching on screen. 

Artwork 🎨

The style of the artwork is a mix of Pop Art and Street Art. Each portrait began with a photographic reference, stripped back to a simpler and more iconic portrayal of the subject, and energized with Depp’s freehand flourishes. The digital artwork will be generated and animated to create truly unique works of generative art. As of now, 3 major properties have been disclosed in the Discord group: Portraits, Backgrounds, and Stamps. There have been 14 portraits, 46 backgrounds, and about 8 stamps leaked so far. Stamps are animated and include phrases anywhere from the tattoos on Depp’s body to personal expressions. Each NFT will be uniquely generated using these three properties (some rarer than others), and potentially others that have not yet been shared.

The roadmap is not fully disclosed yet but will be developed alongside the community founded on Depp’s creativity. Donating 25% of the profits to charity is one of the first action items on the list. Depp is also planning how he’ll be creating value with those who believe in him most. This may include NFT ‘derivatives’, metaverse partnerships, IRL shows, etc. Additionally, as a utility feature included for all NFT owners, Never Fear Truth will process a high-resolution print of your NFT from the original artwork, emboss it with your unique NFT #, and include Johnny Depp's official art certification. This is redeemable once per NFT for the cost of production and delivery.

Mint Details ⚡️

1. Applications at www.neverfeartruth.com will close on Friday 11th at 11:59 PM PST2. The NFT mint price will be 0.6 ETH (not including Ethereum gas fees)  You will only be eligible to mint one of the 10,000 available for sale if you meet one of the following criteria: a) Your application is selected in the random allocation process. Apply on the website!b) You hold an NFT called 'LIT Collaboration One: Never Fear Truth' which was airdropped to collectors to kickstart this community. (if you were in The Drop discord you would have been hinted at joining the Never Fear Truth discord before even Johnny Depp was announced as the artist)c) or, you receive a discretionary allocation from the team (e.g. for being a verified 'Ghost' role in the Never Fear Truth server) The mint date will not be prior to February 17th and we will release details of this in due course.
