How To Mint ETH NFTs On Magic Eden 🪄
On the 1st of August, Magic Eden announced their entry into Ethereum through their blog post. The integration of Ethereum NFTs onto the marketplace allows collectors to mint or buy NFTs in either Solana or Ether and trade more easily using new market analytics tools. They believe the values they'll bring will further improve the experience for ETH creators and collectors.
“Today, creators and collectors still need to do too much on Ethereum to launch collections and trade NFTs.” - Magic Eden on why they're integrating Ethereum NFTs
They aim to provide the single and best destination for both NFT creators and collectors by providing support to launch new collections and grow communities and the best user experience to discover, own and trade NFTs.
Minting an Ethereum NFT on Magic Eden is pretty straightforward. However, the big deal comes in with getting on connecting your wallet to Magic Eden. Since this feature is still new, collectors (especially degens coming from ETH) may experience difficulty in navigating and connecting their wallets with the marketplace. But hey, this isn't complicated at all, it's the same experience as when you're connecting your wallet with an ETH marketplace or minting from a site.
It's just an easy two-step process, let's go over it together:
When you get on magiceden.io, the “Connect wallet” button will be in the right top-hand corner of the first home page. Click on it, this will bring out a prompt - To complete the sign-in process.
The next screen that comes up is for you to select your Solana or Ethereum wallet. Select the Ethereum option (Right next to the Solana option) since you'll be buying with an ETH wallet. Pick your preferred wallet, this will lead you to the signing-in and authentication process as usual.
Note: If your wallet isn't listed you can always use the WalletConnect option to sign into your wallet manually.
After signing with your wallet, you will see your profile signed in at the top with your default 42-long characters. Then you can go over to the launchpad or secondary to mint or buy your art.

UTA Signs A Trio Of Web3 Artists & Creators ✍️
Against the backdrop of ‘NFTs are sinking’ narratives, there are some fairly potent and fresh innovations springing into existence within the space. A virtual BAYC music group collaborated with Mars, FOX Media is developing a show with NFTs at its center, and now the United Talent Agency has signed NFT artists Emonee LaRussa, Vinne Hager, and Andrew Wang to its roster. It also signed the NFT collection MV3, a collection co-created by Stranger Things writer Jessie Nickson-Lopez. UTA’s primary agenda with the MV3 collection is to leverage and extend its IP rights into commercial products in the same way a lot of BAYC users have already successfully done.

In fact, UTA has an entire division dedicated to Web3, and its head coordinator believes that Web3 will spawn a whole slew of groundbreaking creative talent. UTA has just tagged on three new agents to its Web3 division to ramp up its activity. Whereas some are using this crypto winter to produce new skepticism over the viability of Web3, UTA and other factions are using this time to catch up.
Truth Labs Announces NFT Marketplace 🏪
Despite going through a Grumpl claiming process over the past few weeks, Goblintown has been laying rather dormant for quite a while. And that’s coming from a time where all we saw on Twitter, for about a month, was something with a Goblin.
A collection that started the free mint phenomenon, Goblintown, has reshaped the NFT genre. Not only have realized what their community desires but they’re also started executing those wishes in a timely manner. Gary Pee sauce. Parody McDonald’s hats. This project has done it all up to this point. But now, they want to take it a step further.
Truth Labs will be launching our own marketplace in the next few weeks, our new home for our entire ecosystem: @goblintown, @SecretySociety, @the187.
Royalties will be 5% for all collections, inclusive of platform fees.
The bar will be high for marking NFTs as suspicious.

As announced by @ajt, Co-Founder of Truth Labs (the geniuses behind Goblintown), in the next coming weeks, Truth will unveil their own marketplace, which will house their Secret Society, Goblintown, and The187 projects. This marketplace will only take 5% royalties (including platform fees) and will be very judicious when marking assets as suspicious. A hot topic in the recent news cycle, Truth Labs will require a police report in order for an asset to be properly flagged. If the filed report is closed after 14 days, the NFT will be de-flagged. Contrary to marketplaces like OpenSea where assets can be marked “suspicious” with ease, Truth’s idea fixes that, and gives the founders the ability to dictate suspiciousness. It also gives unsuspecting buyers of illicit NFTs the ability to have more control over their assets because of the complexity of the flagging process.
NFT projects that want to ensure a viable future have to look to further the reduce barrier to entry, while also trying to look for ways to be less reliant on “centralized” marketplaces. Truth is looking towards the future of their ecosystem by housing all their projects under 1 roof, and also controlling the royalty associated with it. Larva Labs did the same with CryptoPunks. Let’s see if Truth can deliver once again, and take the Goblins to the next level of sophistication. WAGMI.
