What a wild past week! The team was in NYC for NFTNYC and it was (as usual) a blast. It was amazing to connect with many of you at various events. Hopefully, everyone has somewhat recovered by now 😅.

  • The SEC is coming after another crypto exchange, this time its Bittrex.

  • Shaq was recently served along with various other celebrities for the promotion of FTX. (CNN)

  • The Android Solana smartphone "Saga" has finally come to fruition, and is now available to order. (@solanamobile)

Gen 3 Reddit Avatars Drop 🚀

After incredibly successful gen 1 and 2 drops, last week Reddit dropped their 3rd gen avatar collection that featured hundreds of artists and various collections.

This was a HUGE sale

Here are some of the incredible gen 3 numbers:

So far collectively amongst gen 1, 2, and 3 there have been over $15 million USD in total sales volume with a $56 million total market cap.

As usual, there were some difficulties...

  • when the mint went live the Reddit avatar shop broke (this was likely due to bots that flooded the initial sales)

  • some people accidentally minted the same avatar twice which caused mass confusion

Overall this was a very successful mint (see that number in the middle that says 4465,762 gen 3 avatars minted) and onboarded thousands of new investors.
